To travel is to live
I’m excited about traveling – both in the sense of going on vacation and going on an inner journey. The latter is an ongoing Tour de Hanne. I love my vacations, especially when my family is with me. It has to be all of them at the same time, so it’s the big houses that have to be used.
Most recently, I had the pleasure of being on 5 Greek islands for 14 days with my two adult children – a really nice trip. Greece has so much to offer and I will never be done experiencing the country. The islands are so different and I just love traveling that way: first by plane and then by boat.
Norway is another favorite for me. My Norwegian family lives in southern Norway and Oslo, but have cabins in many places in Norway, so I’ve seen a lot of different things in my life. A grueling trip in the mountains with plenty of painkillers (because I’m not in good shape) and coming home to a nice dinner with bubbles and wine in the cabin – that’s happiness for me. That’s when I breathe in for a long, long time.
The inner journey has been long and always will be. In 2017, I made a landmark choice and became a Reiki Healer. If you don’t know what to do, I highly recommend you become a Reiki Healer. I can’t believe Reiki Healing isn’t on the school curriculum – it’s also the most brilliant business plan! When you heal, you take energy down from the universe and replenish yourself first before passing it on to others. For me, it doesn’t matter whether you agree or disagree with my observations about traveling. I’m just saying that healing is good.
To be or not to be
Clear vision for me means that I can see a small movie or that I have images flashing across my retina – usually without me asking for it. It can be very distracting and sometimes completely out of place in relation to where I am that day. There have been times in my life when I can laugh about it afterwards, but when it happens, it might not be the funniest thing. It’s just something that happens and always grabs my attention.
I’m particularly sensitive to sounds and feel this sensitivity a lot when it’s cold, windy and draughty. I’m almost hysterical at this point and can’t stand to be in rooms where a drawer is open or where the door is banging on the frame due to drafts. I’ve also found that I feel really uncomfortable when things don’t work around me. I used to think of myself as very loose – I’m not at all.
I can be many things – I can play all the keys and stretch myself all over the keyboard. At the same time, I need things to be under control. I like to take the lead to get things under control; it doesn’t bother me to take the lead and go on my own, as long as I move forward and preferably as quickly as possible.
For many years, I have debated with myself whether I am actually clairvoyant. In addition to being time-consuming, this has been very exhausting, because it has also meant a constant pressure test and comparison with others – whether I am “enough”. And by enough, I mean sufficient! It’s a wall of “is there enough this and enough that” that can come up in me, and it’s about inferiority. In my adult life, I’ve realized that many people feel this way… Ha ha – maybe it should be on the school timetable soon.
To stand up and stand up for myself with all my abilities – and to decide that now I want to go to school and get this in order so I can better organize when the visions are convenient – it has been a great gift I gave myself when I turned 50.
What dad does is always the right thing…
And I look like my mom too! My origin – like all people’s origins – is a big part of me. I recently read on Facebook (under the very important news) that the firstborn daughter is a female copy of dad. I’m not going to sign off on that. But I want to stand by the fact that my father is a really good father and I have never in my life experienced anything but the greatest support for all my endeavors – and that goes for an equally great support from my mother.
Historically, I know that I have been different, that I am different, and there are many children who later in life will have the opportunity to take a closer look at this. I’m a lucky potato and always have been. I’ve learned that women can, will and do for themselves, and I’ve learned to eat properly with a knife and fork, be sociable and play cards (Asking Whist).
My family has always been there and to some extent still is. I grew up in a small town that in so many ways has shaped my perception of the world. I have yet to meet anyone in my life where a “copy” of that kind didn’t live in my childhood town, where everyone knew everyone or at least many, many people. I remember as a child and young person always wanting a little more, a little earlier and a little faster, and my standard response was, if it wasn’t “OK”, that it wasn’t my problem that I was born too late.
Hanne’s life today
Today, my daughter lives in Copenhagen and my son lives in Aarhus. My parents have lived in Spørring since 1972, and I moved from Hinnerup to Juelsminde after 25 years, as I was drawn to the water and wanted a sea view. I got it – in panorama. Juelsminde is also different. For example, I live in a special house, one end of which dates from 1877 and the other end from 2001, so I can decide for myself where I feel most comfortable that day.
I have a lot of space and can always rent out a room if it’s difficult to find accommodation in Juelsminde when demand is high due to the city’s many activities. When I moved to Juelsminde in January 2022, I didn’t know anyone. That has changed today, and I’m currently working on becoming a winter bather.
Since January 2024, I was training to become a media and clairvoyant counselor under the guidance of Bettina Thomsen in Lysets Hus in Aarhus. The almost 2-year training is over, and Bettina Thomsen is a lifetime achievement – a fantastic mentor and a great capacity. In addition to being a medium and clairvoyant advisor, she is also a healer, coach and trained psychotherapist, and as something very special, part of the Spiritism Community, where she as one of five can baptize, confirm, consecrate and bury in the faith community, and I recommend her as a teacher.
My interest in development is lifelong. Alongside this, I’ve taken courses in the UK and other tutors are Tim Abbott and Billy Cook, because it interests me to meet like-minded people from around the world. It’s enriching for me to do a reading online in Australia or the US, where I haven’t traveled myself yet. Just as I value the advice of Ole Giber, John Braad, Jasper Søgaard, Ian Elliot, Flemming Bille, Christian Viborg, Annette Edel, Millicentt Rosamunde, Addy Kroggaard Poulsen, Ditte Bregendal Møller, Anni Riise and Gina Allan to name a few. It’s important for me to spar with others and share my energy and be helpful. I can help. I help is a concept and a movement for me.
